April 29, 2017

Revisiting last month’s I Am What I Am mixtape, Hustle Gang’s Ra Ra decides to come through today and share a new video in its support for the T.I.-assisted intro track “For The Money.”

Posted up in some sort of abandoned estate/mansion, the Hustle Gang rappers floss hard for the cameras in this Kid Art-directed clip above. It follows up Tip’s other video release from today for “I Believe.” Check it out.

I Am What I Am is available now on iTunes.

T.I. – I Believe

April 28, 2017

T.I just dropped a new video for “I Believe,” the intro track of his Us Or Else: A Letter To The System album. The cinematic video stars T.I in multiple roles, opening with one of his characters witnessing another black life lost in a police shooting. The video’s strongest moment comes during the first verse, where TIP faces off against a preacher version of himself, engaging in a heated discourse that brings a new, back and forth perspective to the verse that wasn’t necessarily evident on the album version. “I Believe” continues with sociopolitical imagery, culminating in a tense standoff between Black Lives Matter and riot police. Insert Pepsi joke here.

Ludacris – Vitamin D (feat. Ty Dolla $ign)

April 10, 2017

Ludacris is back. After a two-year absence from music, the rapper-turned-actor prescribes a dose of “Vitamin D” on his new banger featuring Ty Dolla $ign. Flipping Sisqó’s 2000 smash “Thong Song,” Luda caters to the ladies with his raunchy bedroom rhymes.

“I love big cheeks in between them sheets,” he raps. “Jump back, I can’t help myself / Gotta ni**a so weak and I get no sleep ’cause the girls stay wetter than Michael Phelps.”

Next up, Chris Bridges will return to the big screen in The Fate of the Furious, which races into theaters April 14. He is also reportedly working on a new album, his first since 2015’s Ludaversal.
